As a Community Development Corporation (CDC) ACCESS, Inc. has been designing, funding and managing affordable housing projects since 1992. In addition to creating agency owned housing, we have partnered with other non-profits and for–profits in the creation of affordable housing for the general population and special-needs populations. Over the years we have successfully developed more than 160 units of affordable housing. Each complex is unique unto itself, but all are aesthetically pleasing, environmentally friendly, durable, low maintenance, cost and energy efficient. Looking at the housing needs of the community, the available property, then incorporating the target population needs with the location of design are just the start of a well designed concept that is needed to acquire the grant funding for the creation of Affordable Housing. We have successfully obtained funding from HUD, the Oregon Housing and Community Services Department, the Oregon Housing Trust Fund, HOME, Community Development Block Grants, The Federal Home Loan Bank and private foundations.
